For those who have never lived in an RV......

......for an extended period of time! We do not have a big elaborate rig like many of our friends do. Ours is just a simple 26 foot travel trailer without any slide outs. Which makes living in it for two people for a long period of time interesting...to say the least! We both cannot pass by each other without one giving way to the other. And that is what it is all about.....giving in a bit for each of us. We have to have patience and tolerance.....and that seems a bit harder as you get older!

We have had many travel trailers over the 20 years of our marriage. Have always insisted on a dining nook and a bath with a full shower (by itself...not one where you shower over the toilet). This one has twin beds and lots of closet space too. The twin beds are nice cause the double beds in these things(smaller ones like ours) are really "not quite" doubles....and one person has to crawl over the other to go potty in the middle of the night. So we really like this one....esp the huge amt of closet space we have. Cali (our very spoiled kitty) is happy in it too. We have a little screened in tent that she can go out in to give her the feeling of being outside. She, right now is not terribly happy being out there...stays for about 15 minutes at a time. But as I remember, she will get used to it and start to like it more as we go along.

We have a nice awning which we can put up which makes our outside space more porch like. We had it up...but then it got windy...so until it dies down...will be rolled up for now. We grill out on the patio most nights for dinner. Storage is always an issue...and in order to get to one thing, you have to move 5 other things. And the fridge in this trailer is my least favorite that we have had. Not much room for tall things...and a very small freezer! And even on the low setting, it gets so cold in the fridge that our milk and my diet coke frequently end up being frozen. We have to turn it off for several hours each day. But the last time we did that...left it off all night and had ice cream bars (those Skinny Cow ones...I love them!) which melted all over everything...what a mess!!

Well.....now I am about to get dressed and go for my walk. Another cool night (high 40's) but suppose to be a beautiful day (70's and sunny). It is 60 right now. Mike is a bit sore from his spill, but is OK. We are going to do some shopping later today and tonight are going to a Bluegrass concert Mike's golfing buddies told us about which is in a town just north of here. Here are a few more pics from my walk yesterday. Judy
